Lilia Kaliko
“Always remember that an artist isn’t just an artist. In the first place an artist is a person.”
Lilia Kaliko started dancing at the age of 4 with character dance. Training was intense and she would always perform male roles, since those were the most interesting. This would help her later on with turns and jumps but not with flexibility. At the age of 8 she started classical ballet and after seeing “The Pharaoh's Daughter” starring Svetlana Zhakarova she decided to become a ballerina. A recent graduate of Accademia Teatro alla Scala, she’s starting at the Vaganova Academy this fall.
Lilia has worn PerfectFit inserts for about a year. She noticed right away how much the inserts helped her prevent injuries and blisters.
Lilia says, “Always remember that an artist isn’t just an artist. In the first place an artist is a person.”
