Olivia Senter

"It’s ok to grow at your own pace. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and you shouldn’t worry about competing with other dancers in class."

Olivia Senter is currently training at Southland Ballet Academy under the direction of Salwa Rizkalla. She started in commercial dance at age 3 and eventually competed with The Rock Center for Dance in Las Vegas. She moved to California 4 years ago at the age of 9 and by age 10 found her love of ballet and decided to give up commercial dance. Aside from her passion for ballet, Olivia loves all things Disney, Billie Eilish and traveling.

Olivia was having issues with ingrown toenails and getting blisters on her toes. She received her first PerfectFit kit this past Christmas. Once she made them, she was hooked! She no longer had pain in her toes and pointe class was much easier.

Olivia would like other young dancers to know that it’s ok to grow at your own pace. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and you shouldn’t worry about competing with other dancers in class. Her legs are extremely long, so she is always having to “start over” when she has a growth spurt. This has taught her to be patient with her ballet skills and realize it is a journey.
