Priscilla Pope

“No matter what you look like, or whatever obstacles get in your way, ballet is for everyone and you can do whatever you set your mind to."

Priscilla began dancing at the age of two, joining the Santa Clarita Ballet at the age of 5, where she grew up performing soloist roles in various classical ballets. She has attended numerous intensive programs including Boston Ballet, Sarasota Cuban Ballet, Los Angeles Ballet Academy, and Colburn Dance. Priscilla has competed and placed in competitions such as California Dance Classics, RAD Dance Challenge, and YAGP. Since 2019, Priscilla has attended the Colburn School in Los Angeles, and is excited to spend her senior year there, under the guidance of Jenifer Ringer and James Fayette. She also adores music and can play 6 different instruments!

Priscilla has been wearing PerfectFit for 2 ½ years, and has loved them since the minute she put them on! “Before PerfectFit I was struggling with ingrown toenails, bunions, blisters, and too much padding in my shoe. Now, I am able to trust my toe pads will help me, instead of working against me." They also help her feel more lifted in her shoes, and give her the freedom to focus on performing her best, rather than worrying about her feet.

When we asked Priscilla to describe her dance journey in the form of a metaphor, she said that “it’s been like a roller coaster. There have been so many twists and turns that have occurred along the way, both good and bad. But I have realized that in order to get to where I want to be, I have to keep pushing forward on the tracks, I can’t look down, and I have to not be afraid of change that can come out of nowhere.”
