Sophia Barakett
"Always bring love and joy into your dancing and always love what you do."
Sophia Barakett is currently a first year at Harvard and a member of Harvard Ballet Company. Born and raised in New York City, she trained at the School of American Ballet and Manhattan Youth Ballet before moving to Seattle in 2019 to be part of the Professional Division at Pacific Northwest Ballet. Aside from ballet, Sophia loves to write, draw, and do yoga.
Sophia has been wearing PerfectFit since 2018 and has not worn any other toe pads since. Her PerfectFit inserts have transformed her dancing by eliminating blisters and allowing her more control in her pointe shoes.
Sophia’s advice for all dancers is to always bring love and joy into your dancing and to always love what you do.
